If a 24 pph injector was installed in a stock 350 TPI and the injector constant not revised from 22 to 24 it would create a global rich condition I have verified this personally Even changing the fuel pressure from stock can create a problem because changing fuel pressure in effect revises the flow rate of the injector

A TPI engine should have a hydraulic roller cam stock except for maybe the first year or two of TPI production If you put a big enough cam in it to affect the idle you are going to have to make some changes in the chip to get it to run right Probably more fuel and almost certainly more timing

305s are harder to get gobs of power out of than 350s there s no replacement for displacement 305s can be built to be quick though However when I test drove the Formula I bought I noticed the difference between the 305 and 350 the car is a 350 TPI immediately If you can go with the 350 if not built what you can with the 305
